Former five-star The Ring Hotel is in one of the famous palaces along Vienna’s Ringstrasse. The lush style of the fin de siècle served as the inspiration for the re-adaptation of the hotel’s ground floor. The At Eight restaurant and the Drings Bar were gently refurbished and combined to form a compact unit. The design of this F&B area draws on the era in which the palace was built, while conveying completely new, contemporary impulses. The classic elegance of the interior architecture was reflected in subtle shades of grey, blue and gold. Classic velvet, wood and brass elements round off the high-quality furnishings. A light metal curtain connected the two areas like a “golden ring” and was an eye-catcher both from the outside and the inside.
