Breitenseer Strasse 47
With a view of the Gloriette.
The new residential building is located on an elevated site in Vienna’s 14th district. The upper floors afford an expansive view across the city as far as the Gloriette in Schönbrunn. BWM Architekten will create a new public footpath and bicycle path through the property, thus connecting Breitenseer Strasse and Spallartgasse, which offers access to attractive green spaces. The area between the two parts of the residential complex will be a spacious garden with a playground. By opening up the buildings, the green inner courtyard creates attractive correspondences to the other green spaces in the surrounding area. The thoughtful staggered arrangement of the balconies loosens up the structure of the standard storeys. The result is an interesting interplay between the various components of the façade.
